About 14.5 million tourists visited it in 11 months

The number of tourists who visited the Turkish tourist areas during the first 11 months of this year reached 14 million, 486 thousand, 632 tourists.

The Turkish Ministry of culture and Tourism said in a statement that the country received 12 million and 34 thousand and 883 foreign visitors during the period between January and November 2020.

The number of expatriates who came to Turkey for tourist purposes reached two million, 451 thousand and 749 during the first nine months of 2020, bringing the total number of tourists arriving to the country to 14 million, 486 thousand and 632 until the end of last November.

Russians topped the list of the most visited foreign tourists to Turkey with two million and 38 thousand and 380 visitors, followed by Bulgarians with one million and 140 thousand and 739, and then Germans with one million and 71 thousand and 782.

Bulgarians topped the list of the most visited foreigners last November, with 143,269 tourists, followed by Russians with 127,116 and Iraqis with 48,748.
